Who we are
Fontszilla is operated by Nicholas Anthony. For any privacy question you can reach us at hello@fontszilla.com or through our contact form. We act as the data controller for the limited information described below.
Text you style
The font tool runs entirely in your browser. The words you type are transformed on your own device using standard Unicode characters. We never transmit that text to a server, we never log it, and we never store it. When you close the tab, it is gone.
Information stored on your device
Fontszilla saves two small items in your browser using local storage: your list of favorite styles and your light or dark theme choice. This data stays on your device, is not sent to us, and exists only to make your next visit smoother. You can remove it at any time by clearing site data in your browser.
Cookies and analytics
We may use privacy respecting analytics to count visits and understand which pages help most. Where used, this data is aggregated and does not identify you personally. Any non essential cookies are set only with your agreement through a consent prompt, and you can change your choice at any time.
Advertising
The site is currently ad free. If we introduce ads on longer pages in future, advertising partners may set cookies to measure performance. We will update this policy first, show a clear consent prompt, and give you controls over personalization before any such cookies are used.
Legal bases for processing
Where data protection law such as the GDPR applies, we rely on your consent for any optional analytics or advertising cookies, and on our legitimate interest in running a secure, functional website for the essential operation of the site. You may withdraw consent at any time.
Data retention
Because we do not collect your styled text or personal profiles, there is nothing of that kind for us to retain. Aggregated analytics, if enabled, are kept only as long as needed to understand site performance. Local storage on your device persists until you clear it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the limited data connected to you, to object to certain processing, and to data portability. Residents of the EEA, the UK and California, among others, hold these or similar rights. To exercise them, email hello@fontszilla.com and we will respond within the time the law allows. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Children's privacy
Fontszilla is a general audience tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will address it.

We may update this policy as the site grows or as the law changes. The date above shows the latest version, and significant changes will be made clear on this page.
