Fontszilla respects the intellectual property of others and expects its users to do the same. This page explains how to submit a copyright notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, often called the DMCA, and how we respond.
Our approach to content
Fontszilla is a text styling tool. It maps the words you type to standard Unicode characters in your browser, and it does not host user uploads or media libraries. Themed pages provide original, generic styling only, with no real logos, copyrighted artwork or trademarked typefaces. Even so, we take any genuine copyright concern seriously.
Filing a copyright notice
If you believe material on Fontszilla infringes a copyright you own or are authorized to represent, send a written notice to hello@fontszilla.com with the subject line DMCA Notice. To be valid, your notice should include the items listed below.
What to include
Your work
A clear description of the copyrighted work you say has been infringed.
The location
The exact URL or page on Fontszilla where the material appears.
Your details
Your name, address and email so we can contact you.
Good faith statement
A statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized.
Accuracy statement
A statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and you are authorized to act.
Signature
Your physical or electronic signature.
How we respond
When we receive a complete and valid notice, we review it and, where appropriate, remove or disable access to the material in question. We may also notify anyone associated with the content where relevant.
Counter notice
If you believe material was removed in error, you may submit a counter notice to the same address. It should identify the material, state under penalty of perjury that you believe it was removed by mistake, and include your contact details and signature. We will review counter notices in line with the law.
Repeat infringers
We may limit or remove access for anyone who repeatedly submits content that infringes the rights of others.
