Full Stack Web Developer and Designer

Nicholas builds and maintains Fontszilla end to end, from the text engine that maps your letters to Unicode characters to the design of every page you see. With a background that spans front end interfaces, back end logic and visual design, he created this tool to make styled text fast, free and genuinely useful rather than cluttered with noise.

Fontszilla is a solo built project, which means one person stands behind every styling result, every guide and every design choice. That accountability shapes how the tool is made: carefully, and with the reader in mind.

Our experience and expertise

The text engine behind Fontszilla was written from the ground up. It maps each letter you type to a matching character in the Unicode standard, the same system that powers text on every modern device. That deep familiarity with how Unicode actually works is why styled text from here copies cleanly and travels well.

Years of front end and design work go into the parts you can feel: a layout that loads fast, a generator that updates as you type, a dark mode that is easy on the eyes, and pages that read clearly on a phone. The aim is a tool that feels obvious to use, because the hard work sits underneath.
