Fontszilla turns the words you type into styled text and graphics, right in your browser. There is nothing to install and no account to make — you open a page, type, style it, then copy or download the result. Here is the whole workflow in four steps.
- Type your text in the box.
- Choose a style from the menu or the list.
- Style it in the studio — colours, background, icons, animation.
- Copy or download the finished look.
What Fontszilla actually does
Fontszilla gives you two kinds of output. The first is copy‑and‑paste text styles — looks like bold, cursive and small caps are made from real Unicode characters, so they paste into a bio, caption or chat like any other text. The second is downloadable images and GIFs — game, brand and aesthetic looks use real fonts, which cannot be pasted as text, so you save them as a picture or animation instead. Most pages offer both, and you choose what fits when you export.
Step one: type your text
Start by typing or pasting your text into the box at the top of any Fontszilla page. As you type, the large preview in the studio updates on every keystroke, so you watch your text take shape in real time. Short text — a name, a handle, a title — looks crispest in the heavier, more decorated styles, so it is a good place to begin.
Step two: choose a style
Pick a look in one of two ways. Open the style menu at the top of the studio, or scroll the list of styles below the studio and tap Use on any one to load it in. On a style‑specific page such as the cursive or gothic generator, every option is a variation of that one look. On the homepage you get a broad spread across many families at once, so it is great for exploring.
Step three: style it in the studio
This is the part that is new and genuinely fun. With a style chosen, the studio tabs let you make it your own: Color for a solid shade, a two‑colour gradient or a multicolour palette; Background for a solid or gradient backdrop; Icon to add an emoji or symbol; Animation to make the text pulse, bounce or glow; and Adjust for size, letter spacing and rotation. Every change appears in the preview instantly, so you can experiment freely until it looks right.
Step four: copy or download
Open the Download tab when you are happy. On text‑style pages, tap Copy text to put the styled characters on your clipboard, then paste them wherever you like. On any page you can Download PNG for a still image, Download GIF to keep an animation moving, or Copy image to paste the picture straight into another app. For a quick copy you can also tap the copy button on any style in the list below.
Save the looks you love
Tap the star on the studio or on any style in the list to save it. Your favorites live in your own browser and reappear in a “Your favorites” section the next time you visit, so you can build a personal set of go‑to styles instead of starting from scratch each time.
A few habits that help
Keep your key words in plain text somewhere too, so search engines and screen readers can still read them. Preview the result before posting, since a few apps render certain characters their own way. Use strong contrast and lean on one statement line rather than styling whole paragraphs. And if you want a GIF, pick an animation first — without one there is nothing to animate.
Make it part of your routine
Once you know the four steps, styling text takes seconds. Bookmark the styles you reach for most, or start from the all‑in‑one font generator and branch out from there. If you ever get stuck, the help guide walks through everything with pictures.
